Although Costco pharmacies are located within a Costco store, not every Costco has a pharmacy department. You have to bear this in mind when looking for a Costco pharmacy. You also have to be aware that you can’t walk into a Costco store at any time of the day looking for the pharmacy department. Most of us have done this before, only to discover that the pharmacy is closed while the store is still open. This is because each department has different working hours. Some Costco stores are only open from morning to night on Monday to Friday. Weekend hours are usually shorter than weekday hours. Pharmacy hours are also generally shorter than store hours. Some Costco pharmacies or even an entire Costco store may not open on Saturday and/or Sunday.
